Sublimation is used on white or very light 100% polyester items. Sublimation uses specific inks that turn into a gas when applied with heat. This gas adheres to synthetic material which permantly dyes the material. Sublimation ink does not print white so any part of a design that is white will take on the color of the garment, which can cause a faded look for darker items. Sublimation is not limited to just clothing, we can sublimate on pillow cases, table clothes and most other items made of 100% polyester.
